[Usability] Improve glucose graph navigation

Feedback:
- Easily view the glucose graph without pinching in and out.
- The slider is too sensitive so it is really hard to stop it at a specific location to pinpoint a value on the graph.
- It would help if I could expand the graph by using the app horizontally
- Figure out the tapping difficulty. Incredibly frustrating trying to log anything.
- The view of the data is too small and cluttered. I want to zoom in, but the zooming in experience is really bad. I zoom in and then have to scroll to the right - rather than it zooming in where I'm trying to. Ideally you should change that view altogether, make it bigger.

I'd argue that THIS feedback is not at all complete. You are right, https://levels-health.canny.io/feature-requests/p/usability-make-glucose-chart-bigger is complete. The recent changes are simply about the SIZE of the graph, i.e. 3 different height settings and a landscape mode, all of which are welcome. However, this entry is about the NAVIGATION of the graph and there hasn't been any changes to that: the zoom levels, scrolling left/right, default zoom settings, etc. The request of landscape mode was just one of the many ideas here. I fear marking this COMPLETE will burry all that feedback.

Hi Tuna!
We’ve also just rolled out a way to quickly tap between 4 different hour display ranges for the glucose chart. The latest (today) and previous day charts use a different setting so you can keep today at one display range (like the past 6 hours), and past dates on another (like 24 hours). The last option used for each will save across app launches as well. We’ve also made the chart more performant while scrubbing along the timeline. Have you tried this upgrade yet?

Cosima Travis Hello! Sorry for the delay in responding. This new ability certainly helps by quite a bit. Especially being able to set TODAY differently than the previous days is awesome. I used the feedback link to leave my further suggestions on this topic. :)

Hi!
We’ve recently released improvements on our glucose chart! You can now increase the height of the chart, or view them in fullscreen when you turn your phone sideways! You can check more by clicking on the 3-dot menu at the top-right of the glucose chart.
Please let us know of your feedback for this feature in this quick survey: https://levels.link/FullscreenFeedback
Thank you!

Just wanted to share that this feature is in internal testing and we are planning to go live this week!! Check your weekly app updates (these typically go out on Wednesdays or Thursdays).

Centering on zoom is great, much better than before. But that's only useful if one is looking into the past and want to zoom in. Zooming into "now" means zooming into the right edge, and with the current centering, that still means that "now" slides out of view towards the right, disappearing off the right edge, and still needing a "zoom+swipe left" to bring "now" back into view.
How about having something like this: holding your finger down on the graph would bring up a zoom menu:
Since last/current zone start
Since Previous zone start
Last 30min
Last 60min
Last 2hrs
Last 4hrs
Last 12hrs
Since wake up
Since sleep start
I think being able to intentionally set when the graph should start and zoomed enough that "now" is just a couple pixels from the right edge is what people really want to do...
And also allow the user make the current choice the default to avoid using this menu every time one starts the app.

Exciting update! Part of this request is complete. We’ve improved navigation functionality on the glucose graph. Zooming in on the graph will now automatically center on and focus on the point of your pinch, making it easier for you to browse your data.

Offer landscape orientation

As a user, I want to view my time-based data (readings, meals) on a mobile device in landscape orientation so I can see more detailed information at a glance (as the time scale would naturally be displayed wider). I would also like to pinch and zoom the time scale so I can see a more detailed view in 15 or 30 minute intervals. Example screen shots from Garmin Connect are attached.

Feedback:
- Upon opening the app, glucose curve is initially too tight and member has to manually expand it to see the desired timeframe. They would like the curve to be more visible and focused on current day rather than showing data from the previous night.

Great news! We're actively working on this feature you've requested. Stay tuned for more updates!

also agree with all of this. additionally it would be great to continuously scroll between "days" to view trends between days better.

agree with all of this, zooming in is a terrible experience right now, always have to scroll to the right after zooming
would also like a "zoomed" view that can also be viewed in landscape mode on the phone
