[Logging] Option to add Imperial units
D
Dirk Bester
There is no sign of imperial units in the app. For American customers you need to provide an Imperial Units switch, we buy ounces of food, not grams.
I cannot log food in grams. The whole food thing is basically useless to me. The “AI” provides nonsensical metric units like grams, centi hours, miliweeks and other 10 based nonsense.
Did it accurately record a meal? Who knows. But it sure likes 10 based units.

[Logging] Units of entry/measure

Enable alternate units (in addition to g/oz, both units of weight), enable units of volume (ml, fl oz). At a minimum this would make things much easier for liquids.
Enable entering more than one serving size option (some of the non-custom items have a number of units you can choose from when logging foods), so obviously it's how they are entered in the database, but this does not seem to be an option when creating a custom food, so you're basically stuck with always converting to one set of units or portions of a serving.

This has got to be trolling, right? Just convert to grams. For anything weight based grams makes perfect sense. The area where people rightfully have issues is liquids that don’t have nutrition info in grams - there really needs to be a liquid volume option.

This one has been requested a lot of times and I think it was even marked complete at one point. I genuinely do not understand why there isn’t an option for fluid volume at a minimum.

Agreed, this is a big one for me, I stopped importing my foods because there’s limited options for amount.
