I have been using barcode scanning for the last two days, and happily. But two bugs showed up: (1) Little packs like "Ice Breakers Sours" (https://www.hersheyland.com/products/ice-breakers-sours-sour-fruits-sugar-free-mints-1-5-oz-puck.html) have a short barcode (0 340980 2) that simply doesn't even invoke any reaction from the app including a Create Custom Food request, (2) Some store specific products like bakery items (e.g. Seeduction bread @ Whole Food with "(01)00211361000008(3904)0065000") or weighed items (e.g. meats & fresh seafood) have the check-out price (e.g. the above "0065000" for $6.50) embedded in the 2nd half of the barcode which makes the Levels app ignore the whole barcode. This form of barcode must have a standard syntax, presumably composed of product, price, maybe store & department. Would be awesome if Levels could parse & extract the product out of these...

Hi there - we are happy to announce the barcode scanning feature is now available!! Here's how it works: https://www.loom.com/share/a108ba58f1284212bed07dac21523c08?sid=ada13574-d2a5-433b-9d19-6b2899cb7854

Barcode scanning is awesome. Better, more consistent UX would be to keep the Barcode button (and the Search button) in the same location---on one screen (logging a meal) they're at the top; on another screen (when I'm editing my meal...? don't remember) they're at the bottom.
