Can't remember if I left this suggestion already, but I wonder about creating a partnership program with restaurant chains and/or prepared meal providers where they will input the specific ingredients of their dishes (even if somewhat approximate) and then label the meal/item with a unique ID so you can quickly search it in the app to log the item you order in their restaurant or buy in the grocery store? I realize that many restaurants don't want us to know what they are putting in their dishes, but those trying to help us should find this offer very appealing!

This is awesome and I already have used it yesterday to enter some Turkish products as well as a bread specific at Whole Foods ("Seeduction"), fully with their barcodes and nutritional label data, with descriptive names to identify the product. All of that, especially the bread, would be useful to everyone. Therefore: Are these Custom Foods included in the Search by everyone else? That would be so awesome! Or, also provide a "Make Public: Yes/No" attribute per custom food, default to No, let us "publish" any we want to. That could also be a very quick way to make inroads into the "Cultural Foods" I saw item on the feature request list...

Tuna Ertemalp: The custom foods aren't available to everyone just yet, but that's something we may change in the future.

Lynette Diaz Should I make a separate feature request from my comment, or is it already logged somewhere?

Tuna Ertemalp: Nope, all good. This is on our radar and I've alerted the team to the request! We can keep this one as is.

Not seeing your food item in our database? Or do you have your own recipe and macros you’d like to save. Great news! You can now add a custom food item to easily access custom foods (and their macros!) with a quick tap on your screen. To get started:
1.Tap the + button on your Today page and select ‘Food’.
2.Select ‘My Foods’ from the options at the top of the screen.
3.On the top right of the ‘My Foods’ screen, tap on the green ‘Create new food button’. This will open up the ‘Create New Food’ screen where you can add the details of your log!
4.After filling in the proper fields, press the green ‘Save’ button on the top right. This will save your Custom Food item.
5.After filling in the proper fields, press the green ‘Save’ button on the top right. This will save your Custom Food item.
